The Preston Sands Hotel in Paignton, more popularly known as the “hotel on the beach” is situated directly opposite the large sandy beach of Preston Sands. Ideally located in the heart of the English Riviera, on the South Devon Coastline, the hotel occupies a peaceful spot with no through traffic. The local amenities of Paignton, including other beaches, the quaint harbour and town centre are all on the level and just a short stroll away from the hotel, ideal for a stroll after breakfast or before/after dinner.
Accommodation
All bedrooms are fully modernised and well-appointed with en-suite facilities and either a bath or shower. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and equipped with a television, hair dryer, tea/coffee making facilities and central heating for those cooler winter evenings.
Some of the bedrooms have sea views and several have their own balcony.
Restaurant
The dining room has magnificent panoramic views across the bay, making this a stunning location to enjoy a fully cooked breakfast, or to sample the varied and home cooked evening four course menu, with a positively sinful sweet selection to choose from!
The Lounge/Bar is a great area of the hotel for quiet moments to read a book, enjoy a pot of tea or G&T in peace and comfort. The huge windows look out to sea so sit back and watch the world and a few boats pass you by whilst swapping stories of your holiday adventures with your family or fellow guests.
